A military watch made by Omega…

This is a very cool military-design watch, that was issued to the Maestranza Aérea de Madrid (MAESMA), a Spanish unit located at the Cuatro Vientos Air Base in Madrid, whose role was to maintain the aircraft of the Spanish Air Force.

The 42mm case is in really great condition with an amazing matte finish.
The case back features military engravings, with he first part of the numbering 21DDxxxx being the Air Force code. The second part, 0021, is the unique code for this unit and the 6645*** is the NATO stock number.
The black dial features three sub dials and also two cool orange hands – one for the stopwatch hand and the other in the hours counter. The dial features the 3H marking, which signifies Hyrdogen 3 or as we know it better tritium and the insignia of the MAESMA. The tritium lume has taken on a nice patina over the years and is now a lovely yellow colour. The watch has its original bracelet that is also in fantastic condition and the Lemania 5100 movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
